But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. God’s seal.

God has sealed His own with His Holy Spirit (see 2 Cor. 1:22; Eph. 1:13; 4:30), and they grieve over the wickedness of man. He will one day place a seal on the foreheads of His servants, to protect them during the end times (see Rev. 7:2,3; 9:4)
