But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.  1 Peter 3: 14-16

Psalm 108:2-5

As each generation goes into the world to preach the gospel, we experience verse three.

There are those on the mission fields that are not able to see the fruit of their labors. They toil, pray, sweat, and cry out to God but they have no fruits. Some become disheartened because ot it and go home to “safer” environments.

Obviously we are not able to see the picture that God sees of the nations. He alone knows the times and the seasons.

Would you take a few moments today to pray for those you may know on the foreign field who may be discouraged because of their circumstances? Then write them an email or a letter letting them know you are praying.
